The Prospector, Twain Harte – Proprietors Robert and Ruth Martin offer a “quirky relaxed dining venue” where wine and food come together in a changing daily menu created with fresh and local products.
Alicia’s Sugar Shack, above Twain Harte on rte 108 has a delicious breakfast – Eggs Benedict three ways, yum! A review from Yelp: “Bacon sticky buns and chocolate blackberry scones. Best I’ve EVER had. Tuolumne Co is SOOO lucky. Wish we had then in the Bay Area!”

Seven Sisters, Tuolumne City , ten minutes from Twain Harte, is the fanciest restaurant around and it is in the Black Oak Casino, which is huge and bustling with enthusiastic & hopeful gamblers. Fine dining overlooking the Sierras with patio seating available.
